Eddie Suchora
Director of Golf
Meet Eddie Suchora, PGA Professional, who is the 4th Director of Golf in Bent Pines history. Born in Olean, NY and a St. Bonaventure University graduate, Eddie has built his resume at some of the top clubs in the country. Before being named the Head Golf Professional at the Park Country Club of Buffalo from 2006 – 2022, he held Assistant positions at Naples National Golf Club, Locust Hill Country Club, Manor Country Club and Robert Trent Jones Golf Club (Host of the 1994, 1996, 2000, 2005 President’s Cup).
Eddie was nominated for the 2016, 2018 & 2020 WNYPGA Golf Professional of the Year and 2017, 2019 & 2021 Merchandiser of the Year Private Clubs.
Eddie has had a successful playing career since turning Professional in 1995 including winning the 2007 Western New York Open and qualifying for the 2003, 2006, 2010 and 2011 National Club Professional Championships.
Eddie and his wife Jill live in Vero Beach with their two children, Cameron and Charlotte.
Meet Jason Berchtold, Assistant Golf Professional, who is smooth and unflappable under any circumstance. Having joined the Bent Pine staff in 2002, Jason usually can be found in the Golf Shop, assisting members with an array of services. His pleasant demeanor and smiling face, not to mention his expertise in setting up men’s and women’s weekly games and handling most concerns with ease, will make your day.

Wendy Ferrara and David Glenz
David Glenz and Wendy Ferrara bring a wealth of golf instruction experience to Bent Pine Golf Club. Highlights of David’s long list of golf accomplishments include: 6 years on the PGA Tour, 4 New Jersey State Opens and a New York State Open champion, a Golf Digest Top Fifty instructor, and PGA of America National PGA Teacher of the Year. A 20 year teaching professional, Wendy specializes in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation. As a staff member at the David Glenz Golf Academy in New Jersey, Wendy combines her therapeutic skills and her teaching expertise to provide exceptional golf instruction to golfers of all ages and abilities.
