Intimate By Design
In 1975, a group of golfers set out to build something Vero Beach didn't have yet: an intimate club, kept pristine.
Joe Lee designed it that way, with wide fairways off the tee and well-bunkered greens that push your approach. It makes for a round that challenges a scratch golfer and still lets a mid-handicapper post a good score.
That founding idea is still how Bent Pine operates today. We built the club to stay uncrowded on purpose. Over fifty years later, you still know who you're playing with—and who you're sitting next to at dinner afterward.
Built on Credibility
Our course has hosted six U.S. Open Qualifiers. Kenny Perry worked here in the 1980s, before a PGA Tour career that ran more than 30 years. Todd Anderson, Eric Johnson, and Joe Plecker each started their teaching careers on our range, before running golf operations at clubs across the country.
Instant Connections
We pair new members with someone for a round, then dinner, then a phone call before they’ve had to ask for anything. That's just how a close-knit club works when people know each other.
You’ll notice the warmth of our community as soon as you step through the doors. It’s in member-led traditions like our Wednesday Mah Jongg group, and in signature events like our Nine & Dines—designed for couples who want a blend of relaxed golf, great food, and quality time together. It’s also present at Chef Brian’s intimate wine dinners, where four couples share a table, and by the second course, you stop feeling like a new member and start feeling like you're simply dining with old friends.
In fact, many of our members don’t play much golf at all—because the vibrant social life, dining, and connections make Bent Pine feel like home all on their own.
